Cleaniche is built on trust, respect, and professionalism. These guidelines apply to everyone in our community — customers, cleaning custodians, and partners alike. By using Cleaniche, you agree to uphold these standards.

2. Respect & Professionalism

Every interaction on Cleaniche should be respectful and professional. We expect all members to:

  • Treat others with courtesy, dignity, and respect at all times
  • Communicate clearly, honestly, and in a timely manner
  • Be patient and understanding — everyone deserves kindness
  • Respect the personal space, property, and privacy of others

3. Standards for Cleaning Custodians

As a Cleaniche Cleaning Custodian, you represent our brand. We hold our custodians to the highest standards:

  • Punctuality: Arrive on time for every job. If you're running late, notify the customer and admin immediately
  • Quality of work: Deliver thorough, high-quality cleaning on every job. Take pride in your work
  • Honesty & integrity: Do not take, damage, or mishandle any customer property. Report any accidental damage immediately
  • Appearance: Maintain a clean, presentable appearance when on duty
  • Confidentiality: Keep all customer information, addresses, and personal details strictly confidential
  • Daily check-in: Check in on your dashboard daily to confirm your availability
  • Account security: Never share your login credentials with anyone. Your account is personal and non-transferable

4. Standards for Customers

We value our customers and ask that you help us maintain a positive environment:

  • Provide accurate booking information including correct address, access instructions, and contact details
  • Ensure a safe environment for custodians to work in
  • Treat custodians with respect — they are skilled professionals
  • Provide honest and fair ratings and reviews after each service
  • Communicate any special requirements or concerns before or during the booking

5. Zero Tolerance Policy

Cleaniche has a zero tolerance policy for the following behaviour. Violations will result in immediate suspension or permanent removal from the platform:

  • Harassment or abuse: Any form of verbal, physical, or sexual harassment
  • Discrimination: Discrimination based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, age, disability, or any other characteristic
  • Theft or property damage: Stealing or intentionally damaging property
  • Fraud: Providing false information, fake reviews, or attempting to bypass payment systems
  • Substance abuse: Being under the influence of drugs or alcohol while on duty
  • Violence or threats: Any threat of violence or intimidation

6. No Side Deals

All bookings and payments must go through the Cleaniche platform. Custodians and customers must not:

  • Arrange private cleaning jobs outside of Cleaniche
  • Exchange personal contact details for the purpose of bypassing the platform
  • Offer or accept direct payments that circumvent Cleaniche's payment system

This protects both parties — our platform ensures quality, accountability, and fair payment for everyone.

7. Reviews & Ratings

Reviews help our community grow and improve. When leaving a review:

  • Be honest and fair in your assessment
  • Focus on the service experience, not personal attributes
  • Do not post false, misleading, or retaliatory reviews
  • Do not use reviews to harass, threaten, or defame anyone

Cleaniche reserves the right to remove reviews that violate these guidelines.

8. Safety

Safety is a top priority for everyone in our community:

  • Custodians should report any unsafe conditions at a job site
  • Customers should ensure their home is safe for cleaning work (e.g., secure pets, clear hazards)
  • If you feel unsafe at any time, leave the situation and contact Cleaniche support immediately
  • In case of emergency, contact local emergency services first, then notify Cleaniche

9. Reporting Violations

If you witness or experience a violation of these guidelines, please report it immediately. You can:

10. Consequences of Violations

Depending on the severity of the violation, consequences may include:

  • A formal warning
  • Temporary suspension of your account
  • Permanent removal from the Cleaniche platform
  • Reporting to relevant authorities where applicable

11. Updates to These Guidelines

We may update these community guidelines from time to time to reflect changes in our community or services. Continued use of Cleaniche after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised guidelines.
